Forth Valley College

In line with Scottish Apprenticeship week, Normand and Thomson are thrilled to announce their partnership with Forth Valley College.

Recently we had all our apprentices together in our workshop, which is especially encouraging for the younger apprentices that they were able to speak to those who are further along in their qualification, who are mainly based out at site.

They completed their modern apprentice induction process with Gillian Ormond and Lorraine Kerr from Forth Valley College, the beginning of their enrolment phase for Skills Development Scotland.

Our apprentices will be completing their Scotland Modern Apprenticeship in Engineering Construction SCQF Level 6/7 Pipefitting with Forth Valley College. The varied programme will include hands on industry work, facility visits, and ongoing projects. 

Forth Valley College will work with the apprentices in completing their logbooks, testing their knowledge, helping in perfecting their craft, and providing any additional support the apprentices may require.
