Our procedures and welders, qualifications are maintained up to date as part of our quality management system and all our welders are coded to ASME IX & European Standards.

Structural steel can be provided with a galvanised coating or a painted finish suitable for the installed environment. Platforms and stairways can also be provided in stainless steel or lightweight GRP

Our experienced engineers can visit your site, carry out surveys and propose a cost and delivery in accordance with your requirements. The steelwork raw material would be purchased by N&T and manufacturing would take place in our facility or if required at the customers site. Our experienced logistics and installation teams will then erect the structure in full compliance with health and safety requirements using our own cranes and lifting specialists.

Since July 2014, structural steelwork falls under the Construction Products Regulation (CPR), which means structural steel CE marking must be secured to show compliance with EN 1090-1 (the harmonised European standard that applies to structural metalwork). This covers any structural component that has been designed and fabricated to meet the BS EN 1991 series of standards (Euro code 3 and 9) for steel structures in buildings.
