COVID Response

Our reaction to COVID-19

At the start of “lockdown” we closed the factory for 2 weeks. We formed a cross company consultation group to review C-19 government advice and the impact it would have on the way we worked.

We reviewed the following areas hygiene measures, workshop zoned working, shift patterns the 2-meter rule and its application, deliveries, visitors, first aid, use of vehicles, office working, site working, showing symptoms.

The group developed a robust and practical set of protocols well before there were detailed government advice on the subject. We had these protocols reviewed by and independent HSE consultant. Our staff returned to work in the knowledge that they were working safely.
