Challenging Installation Completed

Normand and Thomson were challenged to install two 160 cubic metre tanks into the roof space of a 5 story building. The gap beteen the rafters at 5 metres meant the tank could not be installed in one piece, nor was it practical to manufature the tank in situ due to the ATEX zoning in the building. N&T designed the tank to be manufactured in 4 sections, shipped to site and lifted through the restricted access and into the roof space. The tanks were welded up once the area was declared a safe zone. The tank installations went without incident and on schedule.
